Live Bin Bottoms
Withdrawing bulk materials from storage can be challenging when materials tend to pack, bridge, or interlock under pressure.
BW Sinclair Live Bin Bottoms are installed at the bottom of a hopper, bin, or silo and use multiple screw feeders working together to draw material across the full width of the storage area. This provides a consistent, controlled discharge rate while reducing bridging, packing, and process interruptions.
Live Bin Bottoms are ideal for difficult materials such as wood chips, sawdust, bark, filter cake, dewatered sludge, contaminated soil, and other materials that do not flow easily from standard storage equipment. Each system is custom-engineered based on material characteristics, storage requirements, discharge rates, and downstream process needs.
